Ronnie Cleland

Ronnie Cleland joined Odgers Berndtson in June 2006 and specialises in the public and not-for-profit sectors and non-executive appointments in Scotland.

Since beginning his career in Executive Search, Ronnie has built, over the last 20 years or so, significant experience across a wide range of sectors. As well as managing assignments to appointing CEOs, Managing Directors and function head appointments for PLCs, privately owned businesses and multi-national companies, Ronnie has particular expertise within the broader public sector. Ronnie began his career after graduation in manufacturing and engineering products and consumer goods. He then led the Scottish human resources practice of a major international consulting firm for 10 years before joining Thomson Partners, where he was Senior Partner.

Ronnie was Chair of North Glasgow University Hospitals NHS Trust between 1999 and 2005, which was the second largest acute Trust in the UK at the time. This role has since evolved to become Non-Executive Director of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. He is also a member of the Board of Audit Scotland, the Court of the University of Strathclyde and is a non executive adviser to the Scottish Police Complaints Commissioner and the Scottish Football Association

Sectores y Funciones
