José Medina is Managing Partner of the Madrid and Barcelona offices of Odgers Berndtson. Currently, he is President of Spain and Portugal and a member of the European Executive Committee. He recruits senior level executives in virtually all industries and disciplines, with a special emphasis on Business & Professional Services, Financial Services/Banking & Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Health Care and Life Sciences. José's functional expertise lies in Board & CEO, Financial Management, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resources.
He has published numerous articles in the leading Spanish economic newspapers and magazines and is a regular guest speaker at seminars and conferences on management issues and trends.
Prior to joining the executive search profession, José served in various executive positions with CEPSA (Compañía Española de Petróleos). He was management consultant at several companies and Director of Organization and Human Resources at Escuela de Organización Industrial of Madrid and has lead Organizational Change and Executive Development Programs for companies and business schools.
José holds a PhD in Psychology, a BSc in Industrial & Organic chemistry from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and a BSc in Economics from ICADE. He is expert in Organization Development through The National Training Laboratories Institute in Washington, D.C.
