Håkan Ekström

Håkan Ekström is Managing Partner of Odgers Berndtson's Stockholm office. His search work covers a broad set of industries, including technology, business services, life science, consumer goods, retail and media. His focus is to recruit executives to top level positions including CEO's and Non-Executive Directors to Boards.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson in 1996, he spent nine years as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company becoming a senior engagement manager. In this role he focused on corporate strategy, corporate finance, M&A, and marketing. He also spent 1995, together with the McKinsey Global Institute, looking at Sweden's economic performance and barriers to growth. He assisted clients across Europe, working almost three years at McKinsey's Eurocenter in Brussels.

Håkan holds a MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics.
