Bernard B. Tobin

Bernard Tobin entered the search industry in 1993, working out of Brussels and Zurich, and then London, before joining Odgers Berndtson Belgium in 2000.  His executive search experience covers many different industries, working with blue-chip companies, for example in the automotive, logistics, energy, high-tech services and high-brand consumer sectors, with several key account relationships.

He specialises in senior international positions, covering all functions but focusing on general management and sales & marketing.
His industry experience has been entirely international, with The Economist Intelligence Unit Europe in Brussels (management consultancy), with ITT Inc in Brussels, New York & Detroit (VP Sales & Marketing for ITT Automotive & Industrial Products, and Director, Strategic Planning, ITT Europe), and with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Lausanne (as Managing Director, Europe & Middle East, and member of the Executive Committee of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd).


Bernard  British, with a German wife and French-speaking children, and has worked in virtually all European countries, plus the US, Middle East and Japan. He is a graduate in Politics & Economics from the University of Durham, lectured at the Sorbonne in Paris, and has attended INSEAD and the London School of Business. He is fluent in three languages.
